The sequel to The Hours I (2015), The sequel, The Hours II (2016), adopts a similar closed-circuit installation and visual language, yet emphasizes much more the act of removal, or stripping away the image and materiality, rather than the act of addition. The performing imagery does not perpetually overlap, creating opaque, or non-transparent, and superimposing layers as in The Hours I. Instead, The Hours II invites visitors to participate in both the making of imagery and its erasures. The sequel focuses on our relation with the physical materiality and reality of time.
